A canoe is a great thing for a library to have, especially if that library is situated in a riparian context.

Directions

1. Accession the canoe in the LIS, to permit it to be checked out.
2. With adhesive letters, spell out "THIS IS THE LIBRARY CANOE" along the gunwales, starboard and port.
3. Place the canoe near the library dock, rolled over to prevent rainwater or refuse from collecting within.
